Behrouz Vossoughi is an Iranian actor, TV Host and model.
Behrouz Vossoughi is one of Iran's most legendary actors. He has over 40 years of experience in the motion picture industry, with featured appearances in more than 90 films. In addition to his work in films, Vossoughi has worked in television, radio and theater. He started acting in films with Samuel Khachikian's Toofan dar Shahre ma and Abbas Shabaviz's Gole gomshodeh (1962). He became a major star as the brooding hero of the revenge drama Qeysar (1969), directed by Masoud Kimiai. His work has earned him recognition at several international film festivals: he won the prize for Best Actor at the International Film Festival of India in 1974 and the Lifetime Achievement Award at the San Francisco International Film Festival in 2006. He was one of the first Iranians to appear in American and European co-productions, such as Caravans in 1978, co-starring with Anthony Quinn, Jennifer O'Neill and Michael Sarrazin.
